How do you treat a Disc Tear?
Disc tears are treated with NSAIDs and/or epidural steroid injections. Refractory disc tears can be treated with radio frequency ablation, laser, or endoscopic discectomy of inflamed disc fragments within the disc tear. Direct steroid application or mesenchymal stem cell therapy provides additional regenerative ability.
